Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

This policy describes how TextCatch ("we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our service, whether you're a business client using TextCatch or a caller who receives a text message from a TextCatch-powered number.

What we collect

For business clients: name, email, business name, business phone number, service area, and payment information (processed by Stripe — we never store full card numbers ourselves).

For callers who receive a text after a missed call: your phone number and the content of your text conversation with the automated system.

How it's protected

Phone numbers and message content are encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM). Access to this data is restricted to what's necessary to operate the service — our system, not third parties, reads and processes it to generate responses.

How we use it

To operate the missed-call text-back service: generating and sending replies, scheduling, detecting emergencies and alerting the business client, and (for business clients) billing and account management.

Who we share it with

We use the following subprocessors to operate the service — each receives only what's necessary for their function:

We do not sell your data to anyone.

Your rights as a caller

Reply STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, QUIT, CANCEL, END, or REVOKE at any time to stop receiving messages — this is honored permanently and immediately, and confirmed back to you.

Data retention

Conversation data is retained for as long as the associated business client's account is active, plus a reasonable period afterward for recordkeeping, unless you exercise opt-out rights above (which apply regardless of account status).

Scope

This service operates within the United States only. If you're contacting us from outside the US, please note this service is not designed for or offered to you.
